Preliminary session - Our current state of 'health' - What encourages us and what do we see we need to focus on to improve? 1. Our welcome - How welcoming are we as a church, and why is this important? 2. Our worship - How 'attractive' is our worship? 3. Our fellowship - How do we care for one another? 4. Our discipleship - Are we making better Christians or more disciples? 5. Our ministry - How may everyone play their part? 6. Our mission - How might we serve those around us and the world beyond? Through Chris' guidance and facilitation, the church's leadership will be in a very good position to put together a 'mission plan' for the future following completion of this course. Looking to the Future is a course designed to help a local church come and work together over several evenings to reconsider their mission and calling. The course looks at the very practical aspects of what it means to be a church and in particular addresses the church’s fellowship, discipleship, mission, ministry, worship & welcome, looking at each through the lens of mission.
